About Me

Kevin SchulkeRachelOriginally from Ames, Iowa, I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Data Processing with Cum Laude Honor from Northeast Missouri State University in May 1987. I am currently working as Information Analyst with EDS in the Indianapolis Metro area. I reside the town of Fishers with my Jack Russell Terrier, Rachel.

I began my interest in web programming in 1999 when I developed my first website through my dial-up internet provider. With the popularity of a Star Wars timeline, I had to move my website to the web hosting site, Tierra.net. Thus, schulke.com was born. Now, I am beginning this blog.

Many of my interests are documented below.

Star Wars

When this movie came, I enjoy watching the characters journey as they re-established peace in their galaxy. Then, in the late 1980s and 1990s, Timothy Zahn wrote a new series of Star Wars novels to continue the story line of the characters in this universe. I had a timeline of how these stories fit with the original screenplays at my old website, schulke.com. Today, check my website to see what I am reading, will be reading, or have read in the Star Wars universe.

Hockey Fan

Stanley CupI first obtain the great desire to watch the sport of Hockey in 1980. It was the Winter Olympics at Lake Placid, New York. The United States was on its way to win its second gold medal in Ice Hockey since the last time the Olympics was played in the United States at Squaw Valley, 1960. After watching the USA team skate to a 4-3 win over the Soviet team and then on to win the gold, I become more interest this sport. So when the Winter Olympics come around again, I am always watching Ice Hockey to see how Team USA does against the world. Ever since that time, I follow each professional team's pursuit of the oldest and greatest trophy in sport history, the Stanley Cup.

Visit the NHL Champions List on my site for those teams who accomplished this goal in a seven game series.
